Would you consider your character to be heroic? Why or why not?: Catra is not the sort of person you could call heroic at first glance. She's not necessarily selfish or unkind at heart but she doesn't generally have an attitude that lends itself to springing into action selflessly for others. She's interested in protecting herself and the people she loves--the problem is that she's been on the opposite side of a war from the person she loves the most in the whole wide world for the tail end of her adolescence. She tends to be self-interested and looks for the angle that will benefit her most--and if someone else ends up getting helped in the process, well that's fine. When it comes down to the wire, though, she cares much more about her and those she considers hers being safe and taken care of.
